Let me tell you about Liza
(or “Little Liza” as I like to call her)
Liza (not in the above picture) was a little girl about 2 years old who I met in
Livingstone during the children’s ministry outreach there. Most of the children
in Livingstone could speak English because they learn it in school. Liza wasn’t
in school yet, so she couldn’t speak any English. Although we had a great
language barrier and we couldn’t communicate through words, we could
communicate through our actions. After a couple of days, she was always by my
side and was asking to be held. I was amazed by how trusting she was of me.
Many children in Zambia under the age of 4 die from malnutrition. Please pray for Liza and children her age that they will be able to grow up to be healthy.
